2025 Topps Chrome Update Series Baseball has become one of the most anticipated products in the hobby since the introduction of Rookie Debut Patches in 2023. The product includes a 200-card base set highlighting late season call-ups. 

Notable Inserts And Card to Chase

The 2025 release sees the return of familiar hits, such as Fortune 15, Power Players, Radiating Rookies, 1990 Topps Chrome throwbacks. That said, below are some of the primary chases to search for in the product this year.

The new, Disney-inspired “Mickey And Friends” inserts include Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy dressed up in MLB uniforms.

Rookie Debut Patches

For those less familiar, back in 2023 Topps introduced Rookie Debut Patch cards which are 1/1 and include a patch worn by the player during their debut. 2025 sees this checklist expand to 270 total players that made their debuts over the course of the year.

Gold Logoman Relics and Autographs

In addition to the Debut Patches, Topps has introduced Gold Logoman Patch cards which include a Gold Logoman Patch worn by a star player. This year’s selection is 2024 American League Rookie of the Year, Luis Gil, who will have both an autographed and non autographed version of his Gold Logoman, as well as dual cards with Paul Skenes.

Rookies to Chase

Top rookies catching collector attention include Roki Sasaki, James Wood, Dylan Crews, Nick Kurtz, Jacob Wilson, Cam Smith, Kristian Campbell, and Marcelo Mayer - each offering key chase opportunities in both base and autograph form.
